Black and navy blue cargo pants

  1. Black cargo pants are the most requested color for work teams. Black hides dust, grease and wear marks, so pants look clean for longer between washes. It also matches most company uniform shirts and polo colors. Security companies often choose black security workwear cargo pants for guards and patrol teams.

  2. Navy blue cargo pants suit teams that want a professional look with a softer color than black. Navy is a common uniform color for maintenance, facility management and security staff, and pairs well with light blue, white or hi-vis tops.
Both colors are available in bulk from 50 pieces. Ask for a color and size split in your quote request.

What are work cargo pants?

Cargo pants are trousers with extra utility pockets on the thighs for carrying tools, phones and small parts. Work cargo pants use tougher fabric and stronger stitching than fashion cargo pants, so they last through site work and frequent washing. Most of our models are six pocket cargo pants: two front pockets, two back pockets and two side cargo pockets.

How to choose fabric and weight

  1. 65/35 poly-cotton has more cotton, so it breathes better and feels softer. It suits outdoor work in hot weather.
  2. 80/20 poly-cotton has more polyester, so it holds color longer and resists shrinking and creasing after industrial washing. It suits teams that wash uniforms often.
  3. Fabric weight sets the balance between airflow and toughness. Choose 195 gsm for summer outdoor shifts, 210 gsm for everyday site and warehouse work, and 240 gsm for workshops and maintenance where pants rub against tools and equipment.

PPE cargo pants: Are cargo pants PPE?

No. Standard cargo pants are workwear, not certified protective clothing. They do not protect against flame, arc flash, chemicals or low visibility. For those hazards, choose certified garments from our Arc Flash & PPE FR or Chemical Resistant ranges. For hot outdoor work, pair cargo pants with a cooling vest.
